 DC Power pack is used as a source of DC power in Power substations VCB Panel. The DC power meets the requirements of station auxiliaries such as Protection Relays, indicating lamps and operation of Trip and Closing coil in VCB. It has inbuilt Batteries which gets charged through converter action from available Alternative current source. In case of Mains failure, the Power Pack provides the required back-up to the station DC devices connected. Performance With Input at Off :1. On Continuous Load: 100Watts (Battery back-up for 10 Minutes)2. Impulse Load: A minimum of 10 pulses (250 msec.) of 450 WattsIndications:1.AC ON, DC ON, Charger on, Charger Fail, Low BatteryProtections:1.Unit shuts downs under Short circuit on Output side and resumes operation automatically on fault clearance.2.With AC ON and under No load, the output Voltage remains under specified limits.
